DESCRIPTION :

Amazon Madrid is seeking talented Software Development Engineers to join multiple dynamic teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions that drive impact across our global operations. You will work in an environment that thrives on innovation, collaboration, and customer obsession.

You will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative customer experiences. You will create new solutions in a responsive, flexible and collaborative peer environment. You will participate in designing, prototyping, and building solutions to hard problems in the Amazon ecosystem for our exciting future in consumer devices.

Key Job Responsibilities :

• Design & Develop : Architect and implement scalable, high-performance software systems that support millions of customers worldwide.
• Collaborate & Innovate : Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver features with high quality and efficiency.
• Mentor & Lead : Provide technical mentorship and coaching to junior engineers, fostering professional growth and enhancing team performance.
• Problem Solve : Identify and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring robust system performance and reliability.
• Maintain & Optimize : Participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and agile development practices to improve existing systems and processes.
• Drive Continuous Improvement : Leverage new technologies and best practices to enhance product functionality and user experience.

A Day in the Life :

Resolve technically complex problems, impacting thousands of developers including big developers like Amazon and similar companies.
