Role : Azure Virtual Solutions Consultant (Contract)

Work Mode : Remote

One of our clients, a leader in IT services, is looking for an Azure Virtual Solutions Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in VMware, Azure infrastructure, networking, automation, and data center virtualization. The role involves designing, deploying, and managing virtualized environments across hybrid and cloud-based infrastructures.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Managing and optimizing VMware vSphere, vSAN, and NSX-T environments.
• Administering and supporting VMware Cloud Foundation for multi-cloud and hybrid cloud deployments.
• Designing and implementing virtualization solutions for scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Architecting and managing Azure infrastructure and services, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises environments.
• Utilizing Azure Migrate and other migration tools to transition workloads from on-premises to Azure.
• Designing and implementing hybrid cloud networking solutions, including VPNs, ExpressRoute, and SD-WAN.
• Configuring and maintaining network security policies, firewalls, and micro-segmentation across VMware and Azure platforms.
• Developing PowerShell, Python, or other scripting solutions to automate cloud and virtualization processes.
• Implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or other automation frameworks.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting system performance issues using automation and proactive alerting tools.
• Supporting data center virtualization technologies for performance and scalability.
• Ensuring best practices for high availability, backup, and disaster recovery in virtualized environments.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and execute VMware-to-Azure migration strategies.
