The role – what is it we would like you to do?
Currie & Brown are looking for a project monitor to join our Madrid project management team.
Your core duties will involve :
- Revision of contractor’s budget to see if it adjusts to the client’s requirements
- Revision of contractor’s works programme
- Revision of the necessary initial documents to start the works : licenses / permits, insurances, contracts, etc.
- Control of the works progress :
Control of works executed
Adjustment of works executed to works contractedMeasurements of executed worksRevision of valuations and / or invoicesRevision of bills of quantities and prices
Detection of budget deviationsControl of execution deadlinesIntermediation and management of possible works’ changesManagement of snagging and defects to be correctedFollow up of snagging works and defects to be corrected
Repairs follow upTechnical and administrative documents for the works completionWhat skills and attributes are we looking for from you :
Some Pre and Post contract experienceGood technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills (both internal and external)A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, polite, patient, diplomatic, respectful, and flexibleHigh proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and MS ProjectProficient in both spoken and written English and SpanishMust have appropriate work rights for SpainJ-18808-Ljbffr
