Responsibilities

  • Provide a full range of engineering and technical services on large and / or complex projects to analyze and prepare files for efficient and high-quality translations and implementation.
  • Apply advanced technical expertise to ensure the highest quality and profitability on projects.
  • Perform localization engineering tasks, including converting formats to translatable forms and back, troubleshooting localization and translation projects, and resolving tag issues.
  • Guide project teams and external engineers on application conversion steps.
  • Update and configure TMS / CAT tools based on project needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience with Json, Resx, Vtt, HTML, XML, Madcap Flare, Dita, Articulate, mp4, Captivate, etc.
  • Experience with CAT / TMS tools (Wordbee, SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ, Memsource / Phrase, XTM, etc.)
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (Tridion, ST4)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Programming knowledge in Python, C++, C#.
  • Experience with scripting and process automation.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of languages and cultural nuances.
  • Localization engineering certification (preferred).

    • Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field.
  • Approximately 5 years of relevant experience.
