Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) from reliable suppliers.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Search, analyze, evaluate, and select API suppliers for new projects.
  • Ensure selected suppliers meet quality standards and current regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality and Business Development departments.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and new regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and other business partners.
  • Participate in purchasing strategies to optimize costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within a Purchasing department or laboratory setting.
  • Experience with Chinese and Indian markets is a strong plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of APIs and sector regulations.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Teamwork-oriented.
