Job Title : Financial Operations Manager

RMIT Europe is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join its operations team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial management, statutory reporting, and EU-funded project management.

The ideal candidate will have strong numeracy skills, knowledge of Spanish accounting standards, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively, independently, and proactively to drive business results.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting and reporting, preparing financial and management reports, and overseeing EU-funded research projects.

About the Role :

• Prepare financial and management reports for stakeholders, ensuring compliance and providing regulatory advice
• Manage month-end processes, including accruals, postings, payments, billing, and reconciliations
• Prepare budgets, financial modeling, and scenario analysis for various projects
• Oversee financial management of EU-funded research projects, including reporting to the European Commission and audits
• Develop and improve financial processes and procedures at RMIT Europe
