NYU Madrid is seeking a part time lecturer to teach the course Cervantes and Don Quijote. Teaching commences in the Fall Term (late August-Mid December 2025). The course is taught in English. Course description
This course analyzes the first and second parts of Don Quixote and examines their significance from literary philosophical political and social perspectives.
Upon Completion of this Course students will be able to :
The lecturer should hold a Ph.D. in Spanish literature or Spanish Cultural Studies. Candidates who have studied at a U.S. institution of higher education or who have experience teaching at such a school to a diverse demographic of English-speaking undergraduates are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates must be legally able to work in Spain at the time of application.
