Structured Finance is currently seeking a Credit Analyst.
Fitch’s European Structured Finance team maintains existing ratings and assigns ratings to new structured finance transactions.
What We Offer :
- We are currently seeking either an Associate Director level Credit Analyst to join the European Structured Finance team
- The successful candidate will be part of a team of analysts rating transactions back by mortgage loans, consumer loans and / or corporate loan including leveraged loan CLOs
- The team analyses transactions in line with Fitch’s rating criteria and provides high quality credit opinions to investors and other market participants

Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modellingOn-site review of underwriting and servicing of transaction originators and CLO managersPreparing rating proposals for presentation to internal rating committeesCommunicating rating rationale to investors and other market participants through presale reports, presentations, and meetingsCommunicating with transaction arrangers and originators to understand asset characteristics and structural features of the transactionsAssist in the development of criteria and supporting researchWhat You Need to Have :
This is a demanding and exciting role, so we are looking for highly motivated candidatesThe successful candidate should have some prior experience in financeKnowledge of securitisation structures and in particular CLOs would be beneficialCandidates will be highly numerate and analytical, with advanced Excel skillsThe role also involves analysis of legal transaction documents. While no legal background is required successful candidates should be able to review and analyse legal contracts from a credit risk perspectiveWhat Would Make You Stand Out :
