Job Description

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURE

Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile is currently seeking a Data Analyst to help our team on their next adventure. The Data Analyst will support insight initiatives for our BI team. This person will report to the Live Producer. Your daily adventure :

  • Turning data into actionable insights, byperforming hands-on research, data exploration and analysis,to drive decisions and strategies for user acquisition,retention,and monetization.
  • Work with the game teams to provide insights into user behaviour, answer key business questions andsupportin AB test design andanalysis.
  • Carry out projects on machine learning for behaviouralsegmentationand monetization.
  • Debugging andproblem-solvingissues to ensure thedelivery ofaccurate and clearanalysis, reports and tools.
  • Effectively communicate results and insightsto seniorstakeholdersthroughout the organization.
  • Coordinate, challenge and share the best analytical practices and methods within the organization.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in Machine Learning technologies and Data Science trends.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base and culture of the team.

Qualifications

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field(i.e.Physics,Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science...).PhD in any of these disciplinesis aplus.
  • 5+years relevant work experience in similar positions, ideally inmobile gamingindustry.
  • Highly proficient in SQL as well as Python for data exploratory analysis
  • Experience with cloud-based big data solutions such as Redshift, BigQuery.
  • Solid knowledge of data visualization toolssuch as Tableau, Looker,Microstrategy,etc.
  • Robust understanding of advanced statistics suitable for analysis of skewed populations.
  • Experience designing effective ways of communicating, visualising and reporting results / analysis.
  • Experience in predictive analytics and segmentation.
  • Excellentproblem-solvingcapabilities with strong attention to details.
  • Work permit for Spain obtained prior to applying for the position isa must.

  • Experience with Agile philosophies (e.g. : Scrum, Kanban, XP) and project management tools (e.g. : JIRA)
  • Software engineering skills, including best practices like CI / CD and Git.

    Flex working schedule : 40hrs per week with start time between 8 AM – 10 AM and leave from 5 PM (Friday from 2 PM).
