Revlon is seeking a Quality Control Director to play a key role in setting strategies for quality control for our cosmetics and OTC manufacture sites in EMEA, collaborating with critical internal and external partners. This position will report to Sr Director Global Quality and will be located in Barcelona.Job Descriptions :
- Lead Quality Control teams in Barcelona, Italy and south Africa, working in close collaboration with the operations teams from these sites.- Lead the global program for standardization of Quality Control practices, methods and upskilling, including the labs in EMEA, US and Mexico.- Establish and maintain robust quality control systems, including inspection protocols, product testing procedures, and quality metrics to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities.- Develop and execute a comprehensive quality control strategy aligned with the company's objectives.- Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to Quality Control team members, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.- Manage Quality Control KPI’s and objectives.- Support investigations for out of specification products.- Ensures proper transfer of quality control methods and standards from product development to quality control.- Stay abreast of changes in regulations and industry trends that may impact the Quality Control requirements for Revlon products.- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, engineering, and logistics, to address quality-related issues, resolve challenges, and support new product development initiatives.Qualifications :
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related fields.- A minimum of fifteen (10) years of Quality Control experience .- Experience and knowledge in Cosmetics Industry .- Strong organization skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to work, project manage, problem solve and find solutions independently.- Strong communication skills and a proactive team player in collaborating with all key stakeholders across multiple departments and management.
