Role Overview
The Director of Finance oversees all financial affairs at Les Roches Abu Dhabi campus and its partnerships, including :
- Statutory and management reporting
- Internal controls, budgeting, and business planning
- Financial planning & analysis
- Support for school’s budget owners
- Cost analysis and expense recommendations
- Student accounting (billing and collection)
- Financial systems implementation and configuration
- Collaboration with CFO Sommet for guidance and employment
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis – School Support
Develop and execute financial development plans with school leadershipMaintain and update enrollment / revenue modelsReport on enrollment forecasts and actualsEnsure compliance with local fiscal, statutory, and IFRS regulations in financial reportingConduct variance analysis and meet with department heads regularlyReport forecasted P&L data and support capital requests and planningImplement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assetsManage department budgets and payrollStudent Accounting (Billing & Collection)
Supervise billing, scholarships, collections, and refundsReport on scholarships and discounts, and manage relationships with parents and sponsorsCoordinate with Student Services for accurate billing informationPrepare reports on collection status and agingOversee new fee registration and SIS system developmentQualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or accountingAt least 10 years experience in financial planning and analysis or finance operationsStrong accounting background and managerial experienceExperience in international environments and cultural diversityKnowledge and Skills
Knowledge of the education sector is a plusFluent in EnglishExcellent financial, accounting, and analytical skillsGood understanding of IFRS standardsEffective communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to manage multicultural teamsProficiency in Excel and PowerPointJ-18808-Ljbffr
