Join the Insurtech Revolution – Senior PHP Developer (Symfony)

At Q-tech , we’re collaborating with one of Europe’s fastest-growing tech companies, transforming the insurance sector through cutting-edge technology, elegant design, and data-driven innovation.

They’re now scaling up their backend team and on the lookout for a Senior PHP Developer ready to take on a key technical role in one of their most strategic and high-impact initiatives.

• PHP backend development with Symfony
• Microservices architecture for scalability and flexibility
• Strong emphasis on TDD , clean code, and best engineering practices
• Modernizing systems : migrating legacy codebases to new architectures
• AWS and cloud-native environments
• A truly multicultural team : native English, Spanish, and Italian speakers
• 5+ years of experience in PHP , with a deep command of Symfony
• Proven background in building and maintaining scalable, distributed systems
• Comfortable working with TDD and a strong focus on quality and testing
• Experience in legacy-to-modern migrations is a big plus
• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms , ideally AWS
• Based anywhere in Spain (remote within the country)
