Your Impact

As a highly personable, technically curious and enthusiastic Axon Solutions Engineer (Presales), you will be a trusted customer advisor for Axon’s solutions, supporting sales campaigns across Europe. Your role involves demonstrating the value of our evidence capture devices, digital evidence management solutions SaaS and on-premise solutions to Public Safety Agencies. You will support PoCs, technical presentations, architecture discussions, and facilitate product deployment and support.

Location : Remotely from Madrid, Spain

Reports to : EMEA UK&I Sales Engineering Director

  • Support technical and value aspects of sales efforts, including presentations, architecture design, PoCs, RFP / RFI responses, demonstrations, and workshops.
  • Ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery via Professional Services or Partners.
  • Research and network to become a regional technical resource and thought leader.
  • Present and promote Axon's technical and business value at industry events.
  • Develop in-depth product knowledge and domain expertise.
  • Document customer requests and feedback to sales and product teams.
  • Support product evaluations and customer site assessments.
  • Share industry and technical knowledge with customers and colleagues.
  • Proactively address potential pre- and post-sales issues to accelerate revenue.

What You Bring

  • Confidence to lead customers towards successful outcomes with Axon solutions.
  • Self-starter attitude with ability to identify tasks and collaborate appropriately.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%), including internationally.
  • Valid Passport and Clean Driving License.
  • 8+ years experience in Sales Engineering, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, or related fields.
  • Knowledge in Digital Video, Mobile communications, IP Engineering, IP security, Embedded Systems, IAM, SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of CCTV, VMS, network technologies, and IP protocols.
  • Technical knowledge of infrastructure components, data centers, and system support.
  • Experience in data integration, analysis, and large-scale IaaS platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Proven project management skills for PoC success.
  • Fluent in a supported regional language and English.
  • Experience working remotely and independently.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, especially Microsoft / Azure SQL, is a plus.
  • Understanding of SAN technologies is advantageous.
