About The Position

As a Technical Account Manager , you will oversee customer relationships, guiding clients towards achieving exceptional security. You will serve as their trusted security advisor, acting as an extension of their team, providing technical guidance and best practices. Your role involves navigating their security journey, helping to develop a resilient security posture, and advocating for customer needs to shape our technology and services. This position is based in Spain.

A day in the life…

Technical Account Managers at WatchGuard focus on proactive threat hunting, monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents within a high-stakes cybersecurity environment. Your responsibilities include reviewing security alerts, incidents, emerging threats, and support tickets with clients, acting as an escalation point for communication issues, and documenting insights to share with teammates and clients.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Customer-focused, data-driven, and process-oriented professional with Windows systems administration experience.
  • Successful track record in a technical customer-facing role.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining positivity and integrity.
  • Committed to professional growth and business development in a rapidly expanding market.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity, communicate well with partner teams, and understand the customer experience compassionately.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; knowledge of German is a plus.

Experience

  • 5+ years in technical account management or 2.5+ years in a cybersecurity technical customer-facing role.
