Position Overview :

As an Energy Storage Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the procurement strategies that underpin our energy storage projects. You will lead the tendering processes, coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders, and ensure that all procurement activities align with Eosol Group's objectives. This position requires an individual with a strong background in procurement, project management, and techno-economic analysis, with a keen understanding of the energy storage landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Work directly responsible for the Energy Storage Procurement as part of the Procurement department.
  • Lead the tendering process (Request for Proposals – RFPs) and coordinate with other departments to collect the relevant inputs (engineering inputs, O&M inputs, business development, etc.).
  • Carry out techno-economical comparisons / benchmarking and perform LCOS analysis.
  • Lead and coordinate different project stakeholders (EPCs, Battery Suppliers, Inverter Suppliers, etc.) as well as internal departments to allow for a smooth tendering and contracting process.
  • Prepare supporting materials for project update meetings and executive committees.
  • Support improvement of existing internal tools for tender evaluations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or completing Master’s degree in a field such as engineering, computer science, data, economics, mathematics, statistics, or business management.
  • Previous experience with tendering process and project development in the renewable energy / energy storage industry.
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and balance priorities independently.
  • Keen to learn and develop skills in the field of renewable energy and particularly battery technology.
  • Passion for the renewables energy industry combined with solid analytical skills and critical thinking.
  • Good level of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project (advantage).
  • Highly organized with a sense of order to be able to follow up on a number of projects and tasks at the same time.
  • Communicate key results to managers in verbal, visual, and written media in Spanish and English (C1 or higher).
  • Glass half full attitude with an open mind and appetite to look for process improvement and implementation of new solutions.
