We are looking to hire an AEM Senior Front End Developer to work for a German retail multinational company that is experiencing significant growth. You will have excellent opportunities to work on international projects and advance your career.

Main Accountabilities and Activities

  • Implement and develop customized AEM components and templates focused on front-end design.
  • Integrate and manage RESTful APIs and third-party systems to ensure cohesive front-end functionality.
  • Conduct performance analysis and implement improvements, including optimization for Core Web Vitals and accessibility enhancements following WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
  • Maintain code quality through regular code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
  • Develop and execute E2E and unit tests using tools like Jest, Protractor, and Cypress to prevent bugs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and project scope.
  • Work closely with the design team to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality user interfaces.

Knowledge and Competencies

  • Extensive experience with Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.
  • Strong experience with React, including React Testing Library, Redux, and tools like Webpack and Lighthouse.
  • Deep understanding of web standards, accessibility, and best practices.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining complex web applications.
  • Ability to translate UX / UI designs into functional interfaces.
  • Experience with front-end testing and debugging using Chrome DevTools and similar tools.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD processes and tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Maven.
  • Knowledge of WCAG guidelines and experience with assistive technologies.
