Our client, one of the main leaders in the beauty and fashion industry, is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical Accounts Payable Executive to join their Global Financial Services team based in Barcelona for the Greek market. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment, providing financial services to subsidiaries worldwide.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting Accounts Payable operations for a designated company or group of companies, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, compliance with payment terms, and excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Native or fluent level of Greek
  • Full professional level of English
  • Full professional level of Spanish

Main Responsibilities :

  • Oversee end-to-end invoice processing, including validation, posting, and follow-up of invoices and credit notes
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and ensure compliance with AP procedures
  • Provide support and training to SAP users, including guidance for PO creators and face-to-face sessions
  • Coordinate with internal departments to address purchase order issues and ensure smooth workflows
  • Serve as a point of contact for vendor queries and manage payment terms and issue resolution
  • Monitor and reconcile supplier accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely updates of open items
  • Support general accounting tasks and assist the finance team with day-to-day operations
  • Ensure all AP activities align with group policies and maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency
  • Core Skills / experience :

  • 2–3 years of experience in a similar Accounts Payable or finance role
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Fluency in Spanish, English, and Greek (spoken and written)
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Customer-focused, with excellent communication skills
  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in dynamic, multicultural environments
  • Able to work independently, manage priorities, and embrace change
