What You Will Do
We seek a diligent finance and business operations professional with strong accounting experience to join our Barcelona-based team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, balancing meticulous financial details with the company’s broader strategic goals.
- Financial Stewardship : Support and oversee financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Financial Closure : Manage accounts payable, receivables, general ledger, and ensure smooth month-end and year-end closing.
- Tax Compliance : Ensure adherence to tax regulations, handle VAT reporting, and support financial planning.
- Payroll Administration : Support payroll processes to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
- HR Operations : Assist with HR documentation, manage HR systems (Personio), and maintain confidentiality and data privacy.
- Executive Support : Manage calendars, organize meetings, handle documentation, and coordinate travel logistics.
Your Profile
Education : Apprenticeship or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.Experience : 3+ years in financial / accounting roles, preferably in dynamic environments.Technical Skills : Proficiency in accounting software such as Datev and SAP; intermediate Excel skills.Operational Skills : Experience with accounts payable / receivable, general ledger, and payroll processes.Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving and financial analysis capabilities.Attention to Detail : High accuracy in data management.Organization : Excellent task prioritization and deadline management.Languages : Fluency in German and English.What’s in It for You
