Material Planner / Supply Planner

Multinational company with over 50,000 employees worldwide.

• Translate the production plan into mid- and long-term strategies.
• Develop Material Requirements Plans, ensuring the availability of production materials considering forecasts.
• Ensure correct ordering of material supply in terms of quantity and timing, optimizing order size and minimizing obsolescence.
• Maintain MRP parameters, aggregate cross-category requirements, and address MRP exceptions in line with the production plan and finite scheduling.
• Collaborate with suppliers and conduct Rough Cut Capacity Planning.
• Plan for all material requirements against qualified sources of supply to support the production plan cost-effectively.
• Assist in material inventory analysis by reviewing policies, tracking and managing slow-moving items, and monitoring obsolescence.
• Maintain select manufacturing parameters, identify sourcing risks or opportunities, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning performance.
• Educational background in industrial engineering, business administration, or related fields; a master's degree is valuable.
• 4-5 years of experience in material or supply planning.
• Proficiency with analytical tools such as SAP, Excel, Power BI, or similar.
• Fluent in English (mandatory); knowledge of additional languages is valuable.
• Good team player with a proactive attitude towards process and project improvements.
