Responsibilities (Text Only)

  • General Management : Leads business operations within a category from end-to-end, serving as a subject matter expert on the product(s) or service(s). Partners with cross-organizational category management to create alignment and develop strategies supporting the One Microsoft approach. Reports data-driven insights to support product strategy and revenue maximization.
  • Financial Accountability : Manages top-line and bottom-line profit and loss for the category. Ensures efficient use of resources and manages fiscal planning and compliance.
  • Business Planning & ROB : Builds go-to-market strategies and KPIs, defines product-specific channel strategies, and leads the rhythm of the business cadence, including partner reviews and senior leadership meetings. Supports regional GTM planning for Xbox OEM partners.
  • Execution : Manages the execution of category strategies and investments, leveraging financial data to ensure outcomes. Implements efficiencies to enhance impact.
  • Measuring and Monitoring : Uses data analytics to report results, derive insights, and inform course corrections. Shares best practices and supports future trend projections.
  • Growth Opportunity : Identifies and pursues white-space opportunities, defines target markets, and implements strategies based on performance data and VOC insights.

Qualifications (Text Only)

  • Experience : 8+ years in category management, product management, marketing strategy, or related fields, preferably in consumer electronics or gaming.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Analytical Thinking : Ability to analyze complex data, generate insights, and make decisions.
  • Change Management : Skills to implement procedures and technologies to manage environmental changes.
  • Market Knowledge : Understanding of market trends and their impact.
  • Sales Management : Ability to develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets.
  • Strategic Thinking : Capacity to assess competitive strengths and weaknesses, identify growth opportunities, and formulate strategies.
