Staff Backend Engineer (Go) – (Fully Remote)

I’m partnering with an exceptional SaaS business ranked in the top 1-2% globally, and we’re looking for a talented Principal / Staff Backend Engineer to join their team. This fully remote role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge features for initiatives across the business as they continue to innovate in the space.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, devops) to define and build robust backend architectures.

Work with Node.js and TypeScript to integrate backend services with modern web applications.

Drive best practices around system design, code quality, and performance monitoring.

Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure quality across the engineering team.

5+ years of experience in backend development, with deep expertise in Go.

Strong understanding and experience working with Node.js and TypeScript.

Strong familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and CI / CD pipelines.

A passion for writing clean, maintainable code and delivering high-quality products.

Experience in performance tuning, scalability, and systems optimization.
