We are seeking an accomplished and detail-oriented Finance Supervisor with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation to lead our finance department. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day financial activities of the organization and supervise the finance team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial operations and processes.

Position Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, including financial analysts, accountants, and clerical staff.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to support professional development.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to management, shareholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to set financial targets.
  • Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Provide recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve controls, and enhance reporting accuracy.
  • Implement changes and best practices to optimize financial operations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance system functionality.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • CPA designation is required.
  • 5+ years experience in a leadership role within a finance team.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
