Multispectral Optical Design Specialist

Seeking an Optical Design Specialist to contribute to the development of a multispectral optical system for space applications in the thermal domain.

The ideal candidate has experience with reflective and / or refractive optical systems for space applications, with a strong background in testing and validation of optical systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Optics or related field
• 5 years' experience in optical system design for satellite projects
• Strong knowledge of designing optical elements oriented to imaging applications using optical design software such as Zemax or CodeV
• Demonstrable understanding of radiometric, thermal, and structural effects on optical performance metrics
• Hands-on experience with testing, aligning, and troubleshooting of optical components and system metrology
