Senior Software Engineer

Opportunity to join a fast-growing data center hosting provider building a fully automated OpenStack cloud infrastructure, with a mission to deliver industry-first, end-to-end data sovereignty solutions.

As part of their expanding product development team, they’re now adding another Senior Software Engineer to the team to drive the development and rollout of their customer platform that brings together domain management, cloud hosting, and billing into one seamless interface.

Working across the full stack, building scalable backend APIs with Python and Django, and crafting responsive frontend interfaces using Angular.

In this role, you'll also contribute to system architecture decisions, drive performance and scalability improvements, and ensure high code quality through CI / CD automation and testing.

Take responsibility for integration with OpenStack cloud environments, containerising services with Docker and Kubernetes, and maintaining secure, high-performance systems across the platform.

• Lead backend development using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework
• Build intuitive frontends with Angular
• Design scalable APIs and integrate third-party systems
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Optimize the Customer Portal for performance and user experience
• Contribute to documentation, testing, and continuous improvement practices
