We’re looking for an Android Software Engineer to join one of our squads dedicated to building and enhancing core systems that drive Swapcard’s capabilities.

You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions for event organizers and attendees while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Joining any of these squads means contributing to impactful projects that directly shape the future of Swapcard’s platform.

Examples of Squads and their scopes include :

Matchmaking Squad : Focused on optimizing meeting functionalities and advancing the hosted buyer program to deliver a premium experience.
BuildX Squad : Developing a robust website builder to enhance customization options for event organizers, reducing setup time.
Engagement Squad : Delivering online and onsite experiences to maximize attendee engagement and satisfaction.

What you'll do?

Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, efficient engineering solutions.

Participate in coding, system design, code reviews, and troubleshooting production issues.

Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to devise optimal solutions.

Continuously improve system performance and scalability.

What are we looking for?

Experience : 3+ years as an Android Software Engineer with strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.

Programming Skills : Proficiency in Kotlin and native Android SDK.

Knowledge of Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData / Flow, Navigation, Compose).

Familiarity with Android development tools : Dependency Injection, Unit Testing, Coroutines, Gradle.

Experience working with server-side technologies like GraphQL or REST, CI, and Git.

Problem-Solving : Ability to maintain and improve legacy systems, evaluate tradeoffs.

Collaboration : Proactive, adaptable, self-motivated, and effective in remote team environments.
