About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Retail Project Manager to lead the rollout of commercial store design and construction projects for global retail brands.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing complete retail store projects. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of store projects, ensuring quality, compliance, timelines, and budgets are met across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of retail construction and interior fit-out projects, from planning through execution.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, aligning their goals with project execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including architecture, engineering, and construction professionals.
  • Develop and manage detailed schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Navigate permitting procedures and ensure regulatory compliance across different regions.
  • Identify project risks and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Lead internal and external meetings to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Oversee quality control and ensure work is delivered to brand standards.
  • Support project teams with MEP-FP and construction site knowledge.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail construction project management (mandatory).
  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing permit processes across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Fluent in English (professional level) and Spanish (required).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with MEP-FP systems and construction supervision.
  • Availability to travel occasionally for project needs.

    Candidates must be based in Barcelona or willing to relocate independently (relocation support not provided).
