Position Title : Software Developer / CTO / Founding Partner

Location : Remote

Commitment : Part-time to Full-time | (Equity-based)

ConnectEd is an early-stage startup committed to transforming the university experience through technology. At ConnectEd, our mission is to empower university students and professors by providing a seamless, all-in-one communication platform that enhances academic organization, builds meaningful connections, and strengthens the sense of community. We strive to simplify student life through intuitive technology, making communication, collaboration, and campus engagement more accessible and efficient.

We are currently a small, passionate team of two, and looking for a technical co-founder who shares our entrepreneurial mindset and wants to play a key role in shaping both our product and our company!

The Role :

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Software Developer / Founding Partner / CTO who can take the lead on building our MVP and scaling our platform. As a founding team member, you’ll be involved in both the strategic and technical sides of development.

Responsibilities :

Work closely with the co-founders to define and develop the MVP
Lead app development and oversee the technical architecture
Integrate key features such as user login, chat, schedule sharing, etc.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders
Ensure the platform is secure and complies with data protection regulations

Requirements :

Proven experience in app development (mobile or full-stack)

Solid understanding of software architecture and project management

Expert knowledge of the technical side of app development, preferably full-stack

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Bonus : Experience in startups, EdTech, or community-based platforms
