Senior Electronics HW Designer EngineeringResponsibilitiesWe have an opportunity within our Engineering Department for a Senior Electronics Hardware Designer. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following :

• Develop PCB and hardware designs for power and control electronics products.- Lead the definition of components and perform cost analysis.- Development of basic software for the integration of application software.- Execution of ongoing projects.- Join decision team for Product Development strategy.Tasks- Work with internal team and client parties to identify and define system requirements.- Direct and execute the research and development of new architectures and topologies of power converters for applications such as electric and hybrid vehicles, photovoltaic solar energy, etc.- Direct the design and subsequent verification and validation of product concepts in the R&D laboratories.- Mentor and train experienced staff members.Requirements- Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with more than 4 years of experience in research and development of power converters or doctorate in power electronics / electrical and electronic engineering (or similar) with more than 2 years of experience in the sector.- Experience in power electronic converter topologies, modulation, control and algorithms.- Previous experience of more than 3 years in the development of hardware designs for power applications.- Previous experience in the automotive or renewable energy industry.- Valuable previous experience in SiC or GaN technology.- Demonstrated experience in initiatives to develop new technologies and innovation.- High level of self-confidence and autonomous goal-oriented work style, “can do” attitude, eager to learn new things and willing to think outside the box.- Fluency in English, other languages will be valued.- Commitment to new challenges and desire to enjoy a dynamic and motivated team.Other NotesYou must be eligible to work in the European Union to be considered for this position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
