As a Product Manager – MDM, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the vision for how master data is structured and utilized across WiseTech’s ecosystem. You will collaborate with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to build scalable, high-quality data solutions that enhance product performance and customer experience. The scope of the role includes designing, testing, and releasing complex software at scale that is used by and impacts a vast customer base.

Master Data Management (MDM) is essential to WiseTech Global, providing a single source of truth that enhances automation and improves decision-making. By ensuring data accuracy and consistency, MDM supports scalability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. It also minimizes data discrepancies that could disrupt logistics workflows, playing a vital role in optimizing and automating operations across the global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage deeply with customers to gain a thorough understanding of their unique business challenges.
  • Partner with other WiseTech Global teams to understand their strategic objectives and align development priorities accordingly.
  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for Master Data Management, aligning with the company’s overall strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with development teams, technical experts, and delivery managers to deliver MDM strategic objectives.
  • Ensure the product fulfills both customer and company needs.
  • Create relevant product documentation for internal and client use.
  • Respond to customer requests for product enhancements and support.
  • Create test plans and perform test execution.
  • Identify data trends and patterns and make informed product design decisions to overcome challenges.
  • Be responsible for improving the quality of Master Data Management solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience : Proven experience in master data management coupled with product management experience.
  • Technical Expertise : Strong understanding of data management principles, data architecture, and governance frameworks. Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and data integration strategies.
  • Domain Knowledge : Experience in supply chain, logistics, or enterprise SaaS is highly desirable.
  • Data Analysis Skills : Experience analyzing large datasets using tools like Excel, Kibana, and Power BI.
  • Leadership & Communication : Ability to engage and communicate effectively with external suppliers and internal stakeholders (development teams, product managers, and senior management).
  • Problem-Solving Mindset : Ability to break down complex data challenges into actionable strategies.
  • Experience in planning and executing complex software releases on a global scale is desirable.
