Stress engineer for UAVs

Job Description : MAIN ACTIVITIES

• Stress analysis of metallic, composite & hybrid structures, using Airbus Defence & Space methods, from concept and structural development to certification and in-service maintenance.
• Sizing of the structural components, parts, and assemblies from a static point of view.
• Analyze and validate at the component level for static strength and produce relevant strength margins or reserve factors according to validated Airbus methods & sizing processes.
• Perform detailed analysis in CAD / CAM or software implementation on component, equipment, mechanical, or software levels as per specifications.
• Provide continuous support and interaction with design and multifunctional teams during the design process.
• Understand the overall stress environment for systems, sub-systems, components, and equipment architecture to assist in analysis and testing for verification and validation.
• Supply outputs to support planning, organization, and execution of testing, verification, and validation activities.
• Provide stress analyses for the repair and acceptance of damaged structures.
• Understand and integrate technologies related to metallic and composite materials.
