SW Development Engineer

GTD Defense & Security Solutions designs, develops, and integrates systems and products to secure and protect people, critical infrastructures, and territories. We create systems supporting peacekeeping, search & rescue operations, training, and simulation tools, from HQ to personnel on the ground.

We are seeking a SW Development Engineer to join our I&C team at GTD Defense & Security Solutions, a GTD Group company specializing in large, complex, and safety-critical applications. The position is based in Cadiz, San Fernando, & Puerto de Santa Maria.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers focused on system integration across mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software levels, mainly for land border surveillance and naval systems, covering all project lifecycle phases from technical specification to validation.

Requirements :

• Experience with Linux Operating System
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming in C++ (QT environment)
• Experience in real-time systems applications
• Familiarity with static and dynamic analysis tools
• Experience in build generation
• Knowledge of continuous integration, cross, and distributed compilation
• Experience with Dockers is a plus
• Experience in software migration is an asset
