Sulzer is seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our team in Spain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering specifically with experience in Python .NET SQL Server Angular and Azure cloud technologies. This role involves both handson development and leadership responsibilities building up a team of talented software engineers to deliver cuttingedge solutions.

Your main tasks and responsibilities :

Architecture Design : Lead the design and development of scalable robust and secure software solutions using Python .NET SQL Server Angular and Azure.

Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of software engineers fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Ultimately responsible for the team delivery.

Handson Development : Participate actively in coding debugging and reviewing code to ensure highquality software development.

Project Management : Oversee product roadmaps ensuring ontime delivery of solutions within budget and scope. Carry the role of Scrum Master.

Technical Expertise : Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices implementing them to enhance our software solutions.

Collaboration : Work closely with crossfunctional teams including product management quality assurance and operations to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

Problem Solving : Address technical challenges troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions to complex problems.

Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture design decisions and product progress.

To succeed in this role you will need :

Education : Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or related field.

Experience : Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Technical Skills :

o Proficiency in .NET for backend development. Bonus if you are also familiar with Python and Machine Learning.

o Experience with SQL Server for database management.

o Strong knowledge of Angular for frontend development.

o Expertise in Azure cloud services and deployment of containers.

Leadership Abilities : Proven track record of leading and mentoring software development teams.

ProblemSolving Skills : Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and accustomed to work in Agile / Scrum setup.

Agility : Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
