Engineering Technician – Machine Build & Packaging Systems

Wexford, Ireland

We’re hiring for a specialist machine build firm delivering custom high-speed packaging machinery to global Life Sciences and Food & Beverage clients.

If you’ve got a solid track record in automated machine assembly, commissioning , and fine-tuning high-performance systems, this could be for you.

What you’ll do :

Assemble, debug & commission bespoke automated equipment

Optimise mechanical, electrical & control systems (PLC, pneumatic, servo)

Conduct FAT, troubleshoot issues, and work cross-functionally with design & controls teams

Work on systems used in sterile packaging, filling & labelling

Maintain GMP-compliant documentation where required

What you’ll bring :

3+ years in machine build, packaging automation, or mechanical assembly

Confident working with high-speed, precision electromechanical systems

Skilled in reading tech drawings, troubleshooting, and commissioning

Trade Cert / FETAC Level 6 in Mech / Electrical / Automation Engineering
