Our team is looking for a HW Researcher / Designer to join our Storage Systems unit. This role involves designing, developing and testing batteries for various applications.

The successful candidate will be part of a state-of-the-art research centre focusing on sustainability and the circular economy. They will work on training and / or company transfer projects on the storage systems unit strategic line involving HW and validation and its industrialisation.

Key responsibilities :

  • Battery Management System (BMS) market research in different application areas.
  • Schematic and PCB design according to specifications and design standards.
  • Providing support for design validation and analysis of results.
  • Integrating designs into final applications.
  • Developing new algorithms for BMS control SW.

Additionally, you will be involved in generating and implementing new ideas / concepts, drawing up technical documentation, and seeking funding.

Requirements :

  • Engineering degree specialising in Electronics / Telecommunications or related field.
  • Master's or Doctoral Degree in smart energy systems area.
  • Experience in Altium environment or similar for electronic card creation.
  • Knowledge of schematic diagrams, PCB design, and communication protocols like I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet.
  • Programming skills for large projects.
