Job Description

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will deliver analytics on top of unique data sets using a state-of-the-art tech stack. You will work in a stable agile team delivering small, incremental improvements through continuous delivery pipelines. You will advise internal and external clients in Media Measurement, translating requirements into analytical solutions. You will assess feasibility and productize work within our existing system landscape. You will collaborate with experienced Data Scientists and Engineers, sharing knowledge and learning from each other. You will be part of the Global Data Science community, comprising over 80 professionals across four countries, ready to challenge and be challenged by your skills.

Main responsibilities include :

  • Owning Data Science solutions throughout their lifecycle (brainstorming, design, implementation, productization, maintenance)
  • Developing solutions based on data science, statistics, and machine learning models
  • Improving methods and tools, contributing to communities of practice
  • Communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences in Tech, Operations, Commercial, and Product teams
  • Understanding data strengths and weaknesses to optimize solutions
  • Screening the market for new Data Science approaches
  • Fostering knowledge exchange and presenting expertise at conferences and workshops

Qualifications

Typically, a Master’s degree or PhD with modeling and statistics skills and 6+ years of experience is required. You should enjoy communicating complex methodology to both technical and non-technical audiences. You must have expert statistical and machine learning modeling skills (e.g., statistical tests, classification, predictive modeling, handling missing data). Experience with Python or R and their ecosystems is necessary.

Preferred additional skills include :

  • Knowledge of cloud computing environments, especially AWS
  • Advanced software development skills (unit testing, CI / CD, Git)
  • Familiarity with evolving Data Science ecosystems and frameworks
