About your role

We are looking for an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) SME to join our consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of IAM experience, a strong technical background, and a deep understanding of identity management solutions and best practices. You will design, implement, and manage IAM solutions across various industries, ensuring secure and efficient access to systems and data.

The IAM SME will provide expert advice on IAM strategies, mentor junior team members, and ensure solutions align with business goals and regulatory standards.

As an IAM SME, you will be instrumental in securing client identities and access, shaping the future of IAM, and working with industry leaders. This highly technical role is perfect for passionate IAM professionals eager to make a tangible impact on security challenges.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to determine IAM requirements across sectors.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and compliant IAM solutions.
• Develop and maintain the IAM strategic vision and technical roadmap, aligned with evolving technologies and industry best practices.
• Provide guidance on IAM decisions, supporting lower-level specialists.
• Implement and manage identity governance solutions, including user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and access certification.
• Assess and mitigate IAM risks using risk-based methodologies, advising on security, cost, and performance trade-offs.
• Integrate IAM considerations into enterprise architecture, influencing policies and technology choices.
• Promote Secure by Design principles, ensuring IAM is integrated into the system development lifecycle.
• Conduct access reviews, manage identity lifecycles, and perform security testing, guiding teams on best practices.
• Align with industry standards and regulations such as ISO / IEC 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Review third-party IAM solutions and vendors to ensure security standards are met.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on advanced IAM topics like MFA, SSO, and PAM.
• Monitor emerging IAM threats and adapt solutions to counter new vulnerabilities.
