The role of the Regional On The Road (OTR) Manager is a critical position focused on maximizing OTR operations and delivery experience. This field-based position can be located at any AMXL operating site in Europe.

The manager excels at leveraging operational relationships, acting as the custodian of delivery and experience at the station level. They ensure high standards in engagement and foster a 'win-win' culture between Operations and Delivery Partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with OTR safety and site operations to meet regional safety metrics.
  • Lead regional OTR performance improvements and provide weekly visibility, including solutions.
  • Deliver the Regional Workload Balance Report for on-road performance.
  • Create sustainable business practices fostering a 'win-win' culture between Operations and Delivery Partners.
  • Ensure a best-in-class delivery experience at the site level and coordinate engagement across the region.
  • Work with site operations, routing teams, and coordinators to ensure efficiency and best practices to improve cost to serve.
  • Coordinate projects across the region.

A Day in the Life

The OTR manager defines the medium-term OTR strategy, influencing both internal and external stakeholders. They work closely with site leaders as a trusted SME in OTR, requiring flexibility and weekly travel across multiple sites.

This role emphasizes safety, productivity, and innovation, transforming how customers buy and receive large goods.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in account management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in English and the local language, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience using data analytics to resolve performance issues.
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels, including leadership.
  • Degree in business management, economics, law, engineering, or supply chain and logistics.
