Ebury Madrid office (4 days in the office and 1 day of home office per week)
The FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst plays a critical role in providing financial insights and analysis to support the strategic decision-making process across the organization. This individual will be responsible for conducting financial reviews, preparing budget forecasts, and analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for
performance improvement. The Analyst will work closely with various departments tounderstand their financial needs and provide guidance on actuals, budget management andcost reduction strategies.
Reporting and Analysis :
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on financial performance,including variance analysis and commentary for senior management.
Develop and monitor department-specific budgets and provide insightfulreports to department leaders.
Enhance financial reporting frameworks to improve the quality and timelinessof financial data.
Utilize business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights into businessperformance.
Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
Budgeting and Planning :
Assist in the budgeting and planning process by providing templates,guidelines, and consolidation of all submissions.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Engineering; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Big4, financial planning and analysis orrelated fields.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data withoutcompromising accuracy.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects withtight deadlines.
