Marosa is a leading FinTech company based in Vigo, specialising in tax technology. Our mission is to simplify global VAT compliance for multinational companies through powerful software solutions.

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing engineering team. If you enjoy working with data pipelines, transforming large datasets, and enabling data-driven decisions across products, we would like to hear from you.

What You Will Do :

  • Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver high-quality datasets.
  • Optimise data workflows and support the integration of external data sources into our platform.
  • Collaborate with backend and product teams to ensure data consistency and performance.
  • Help define best practices for data architecture and tooling.

What We Are Looking For :

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working in data engineering, preferably in SaaS or technology-driven environments.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in designing and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modelling, and relational databases.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and independently solve complex data problems.
  • Bonus : Experience with Airflow, dbt, or cloud-based data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or AWS.
