Description

At Apple, successful EPMs don’t just lead tasks, they deliver outcomes. As an Engineering Project Manager, you’ll lead complex software development initiatives from concept to launch. This hands-on role demands technical depth, strategic thinking, and project leadership to ensure alignment with goals, timelines, and budgets.You’ll be deeply involved in product definition and requirements, driving feature development strategy, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and focusing on people to achieve results. Your responsibilities will span the full program lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design discussions to partner coordination, proof-of-concepts, testing, and launch readiness.Key Responsibilities :

  • Drive end-to-end execution of software development projects, ensuring feasibility, alignment with business goals, and timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, resources, budgets, and risk mitigation.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Design, Engineering, QA, Legal, Privacy, Finance, Product, and Business Operations teams.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning to ensure effective workload distribution and delivery cadence.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Promote continuous improvement in team performance and delivery processes.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative environment that encourages problem-solving and shared ownership.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and champion customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience leading full project lifecycles with deep understanding of SDLC, release planning, and Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proven success managing complex, cross-functional programs across multiple concurrent releases.
  • Builds strong, collaborative partnerships with product and engineering teams; skilled at translating user needs into clear, actionable engineering requirements.
  • Track record of driving team performance, delivery quality, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Hands-on experience managing tickets and issue workflows in tools such as JIRA or similar systems. Able to track, prioritize, and maintain task-level visibility across engineering and QA.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments with a strong focus on execution and outcomes.
  • Exceptionally organized with excellent time management, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills; comfortable engaging with executives and technical teams alike.
  • Experience working in multinational or distributed teams, especially across Europe and the U.S.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in machine learning and / or generative AI (GenAI) product development.
  • BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) is a plus.
