Lead Consolidation Specialist

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for coordinating the consolidation process of the entire group. This involves managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process for more than 100 legal entities that make up the organization, in compliance with the consolidation and reporting deadlines.

  • Monitor intercompany balances and ensure consistency in accounting of transactions across the group.
  • Analyze reporting packages in affiliated companies and joint ventures, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and compliance with organizational accounting policies.
  • Coordinate and communicate with local finance teams in countries where the organization operates.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS and organizational accounting policies, ensuring adherence to internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external audits related to consolidation and reporting processes.

To be considered for this role, you should have a strong background in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field. You should also possess proficiency in English, with other languages considered a bonus. A minimum of 5 years of consolidation experience in a corporate environment or audit is required, along with experience in the use of Magnitude and SAP. Knowledge of IFRS is also essential.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements within the consolidation and reporting functions to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Additionally, you will contribute to the standardization and implementation of procedures, accounting policies, and controls in the organization's companies to ensure quality of information in the consolidation process. Assist with additional reporting requirements as needed.

Requirements

  • A degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English, with other languages considered a bonus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of consolidation experience in a corporate environment or audit.
  • Experience in the use of Magnitude and SAP.
  • Knowledge of IFRS.
