Investment Operations Associate Director

Our Opportunity

The main responsibility of this role is to perform and oversee processing, posting, and clearing of transactions, payments, and corporate actions to ensure correct, complete, and timely position management for standard clients and processes. It involves performing control activities for complex clients and processes in accordance with required timelines and acting as a subject matter expert for complex topics.

Your Role

As an Investment Operations Associate Director, your main responsibilities will include :

  • Ensuring correct daily processing, posting, and clearing of securities transactions and income payments, and providing insights and solutions to complex technical queries from clients.
  • Managing timely month-end closing activities.
  • Periodic reconciliation of securities holdings and cash accounts.
  • Supporting projects and internal initiatives as a subject matter expert and senior business analyst, offering operational expertise.
  • Resolving operational issues efficiently, ensuring high-quality service, and managing issues according to the Group Incident Management Policy.
  • Supporting the achievement of KPIs to optimize business performance, especially around automation.

Your Skills and Experience

Ideal candidates will have :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting; Master’s preferred.
  • 4-5 years of practical experience in Investment Operations, Financial Markets, Banking, or Insurance, with technical skills in FSCM / FAM / TRM-SAP Treasury or similar.
  • Knowledge of asset classes, financial instruments, risks, and markets.
  • Valuable certifications like CFA are highly regarded.
  • Strong relationship management skills with stakeholders, asset managers, and custodians.
  • Ability to work independently, lead by example, and enhance team competencies.
  • Client-focused with analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and share knowledge, with a commitment to high-quality processes.
  • Proactive in personal development and team collaboration.
  • Experience in collaborative projects, languages, and cross-cultural environments.
  • Interest in investments and technology solutions.
