We’re looking for an experienced engineering leader to support the Machine Learning, Research, and ML Ops group, which drives innovation and delivers impactful solutions for Superbet’s customers. The team combines applied machine learning, foundational research, and ML operations to harness data for revolutionizing online gambling and sports betting. Key areas include predictive analytics, personalization, fraud detection, and real-time recommendations, transforming complex data into actionable insights that enhance customer engagement and trust.
The group ensures that deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production is streamlined, scalable, and efficient, enabling rapid experimentation and confident iteration, ultimately delivering value swiftly. By leveraging machine learning, the team aims to create smarter systems and deepen customer understanding, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future, fostering a data-driven culture, and providing unparalleled experiences to players.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership & Management : Lead and mentor 3+ teams of data scientists, ML engineers, software engineers, and managers, guiding their daily activities and growth. Foster a collaborative, innovative environment and build strong partnerships with product management and stakeholders.
- Project Management : Manage and prioritize ML projects aligning with business goals. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions and coordinate with cross-functional teams for integration into production systems.
- Technical Expertise : Design, develop, and deploy advanced ML models to solve complex problems. Stay updated with the latest trends and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Collaboration : Communicate effectively with stakeholders, understand their needs, and translate them into ML projects. Present insights to senior management and stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning : Develop strategies for building and scaling ML solutions. Drive the long-term vision and identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements.
Qualifications :
Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.5+ years in machine learning and data science roles.5+ years leading engineering teams, supporting growth and performance.Strong programming skills in Python and experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud computing.Proven leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in gaming or entertainment industries.Knowledge of MLOps and deploying ML models in production.Experience with tools like Spark, Snowflake, Qwak, MLFlow, Airflow.Contributions to open-source AI / ML projects or participation in AI competitions.Experience training large-scale foundation models (e.g., GPT, BERT).Publications in top AI conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR.What We Offer :
