The mission has started. We are excited to announce the beginning of our own cell manufacturing in Valencia. The tasks and requirements in operations are diverse, covering all production-related activities within the battery cell production. Responsibilities include planning, constructing, and rolling out upcoming battery cell factories. Additionally, planning and implementing operational functions such as logistics, quality, production, and plant management are key elements within operations.

Production engineers collaborate with other engineering disciplines to develop and implement manufacturing processes that optimize production output, minimize waste, and reduce costs. They focus on improving productivity, maintaining quality standards, minimizing costs, and ensuring the safety and sustainability of production environments.

How You Will CELLebrate

  • Prepare production documentation and ensure readiness for production (Operation Instructions, Autonomous Maintenance, 5S instructions, etc.).
  • Monitor production KPIs, review daily deviations, and follow up on OPLs.
  • Drive problem-solving by coordinating with project management, technical experts, international stakeholders, and external suppliers.
  • Implement production systems by defining with IE, creating implementation plans, and aligning with foremen.
  • Continuously improve to achieve production target KPIs.
  • Coordinate and optimize manufacturing resources across all production phases, especially during ramp-up of equipment.
  • Support audits and customer releases.
  • Participate in simultaneous engineering teams to ensure project progress.
  • Manage production projects to meet KPIs such as specification compliance, scrap rate, and production efficiency within the defined budget and timeline.
  • Work on a 24 / 7 shift model following the factory schedule and applicable shift rotation strategies.

Requirements

What you need for our CELLebration

  • Knowledge of production systems and lean manufacturing.
  • Experience in a mass production environment.
  • Familiarity with project management and new product introduction projects.
  • Clear and logical communication skills.
  • 2+ years of project management experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Initiative in leading problem-solving efforts.
  • Proficiency in office applications.
  • 4+ years in the manufacturing industry.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in automotive, engineering, or project management.
