About the Role :
As an HR Generalist at Belmoney, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience across the entire lifecycle. This is a hands-on position where you'll be responsible for executing and continuously improving HR processes, with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, contract management, and payroll support. You'll work closely with local and global teams, helping to ensure that our people operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with Belmoney's culture and growth strategy.
In addition to core HR responsibilities, you will also provide support to Belmoney's board members, assisting with administrative and coordination tasks as needed. This dual role requires discretion, responsiveness, and a proactive approach to ensure smooth operations and executive support when required.
Key Responsibilities :
Talent Acquisition (Full-Cycle Recruitment)
- Manage the entire recruitment process from end to end : crafting job descriptions, posting vacancies on platforms, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers
- Act as a brand ambassador for Belmoney, ensuring a great candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Support hiring strategies that align with both local and global headcount plans
Onboarding & Integration
Coordinate and execute structured onboarding processes for new hiresPrepare employment contracts, gather documentation, and register employees in internal systemsSchedule and track initial trainings and ensure a smooth transition for every new team memberEnsure legal compliance and accurate documentation for all onboarding proceduresPeople Operations & Contract Management
Draft, manage, and update employment contracts, amendments, and offboarding documentation in accordance with Spanish labor lawsKeep employee records up to date and organized, ensuring compliance and confidentialityPartner with legal or compliance teams when necessary to support international mobility and local regulatory issuesPayroll & HR Administration
Support payroll by checking timesheets, verifying salary calculations, and coordinating with finance / payroll providersMonitor benefits and compensation routines, and resolve any discrepancies in payment or documentationHandle administrative tasks such as absence tracking, holiday management, and certificates issuancePerformance & Employee Experience
Assist in building and maintaining structured feedback cycles and performance reviewsAct as a point of contact for employee questions and requests related to HR mattersContribute to building a strong company culture and fostering employee engagementExecutive Support (Board Members Assistance)
Provide administrative and logistical support to board members when requiredAssist with meeting scheduling, travel coordination, documentation, and other ad hoc requestsAct as a reliable and confidential point of contact for board-level assistanceRequirements :
2+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role with full-cycle exposureSolid understanding of labor law and HR best practicesExcellent written and verbal communication in English (mandatory); Portuguese is a strong advantageOrganized, self-driven, and adaptable to changeHands-on approach and high level of accountabilityProven ability to handle sensitive information with discretionWhat You'll Find at Belmoney :
