What You Do

You will have the opportunity to engage in large-scale and cross-functional audits while acquiring in-depth knowledge of the business and enhancing your personal development in a multicultural work environment. A Senior Auditor is considered a seasoned professional who requires minimal supervision and can support the lead auditor in managing less experienced auditors. Your interpersonal skills will be valuable in collaborating with various audit managers and regional heads overseeing your assigned projects.

Occasionally, you may be asked to provide context to your audit findings during follow-up reviews to ensure timely implementation of recommendations. Additional tasks may be assigned by the Head of Internal Audit, Head of Audit Practice, or the overseeing Audit Practice Head.

Key Responsibilities

  • Using your skills to examine the effectiveness of risk management, control, governance, and operational efficiency, documenting your work with relevant comments and properly referenced working papers.
  • Communicating effectively with the audit team and management regarding findings, recommendations, and associated risks and impacts.
  • Respecting management's time through proper preparation and efficient scheduling of meetings, including planning, opening, fieldwork interviews, closing, and post-audit meetings.
  • Challenging and ensuring management action plans address risks adequately before finalizing reports, in collaboration with the lead auditor and audit head.
  • Developing strong relationships with Heads of Functions and establishing relationships with local CEOs.
  • Contributing to the development of junior auditors through coaching and knowledge transfer.
  • Supporting administrative tasks such as conducting process risk assessments, preparing audit plans, and developing audit work programs.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 4 years of audit experience.
  • A proactive, energetic attitude and a positive approach.
  • Comfort with international travel, including business class for flights over 5 hours.
  • Extensive experience with interview techniques, auditing, project management, or risk management.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and a drive to explore new technologies.
  • Strong data mining and analytical skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university.
  • A continuous desire to learn and adapt to changing business environments.
  • Audit certifications are a plus.
