This PhD Program is a collaboration program between SEAT and the UPC University where strategic research projects are carried out.

Project Description

We are offering an industrial PhD focused on enhancing manufacturing efficiency and sustainability through advanced AI technologies. The project aims to develop intelligent control strategies that integrate predictive maintenance with energy optimization in industrial systems.

By leveraging machine learning and data-driven models, the research will enable early failure detection, improved reliability of production assets, and reduced energy consumption. This interdisciplinary work will combine real-time monitoring, predictive modeling, and control theory to deliver an integrated solution for smarter, greener industry.

Key Research Milestones Include

Development of advanced AI tools for predictive maintenance.

Predictive modeling of production dynamics and energy use.

Design of control strategies to enable efficient and reliable manufacturing.

Integration of maintenance and control approaches into a unified framework.
