Job Summary :

As an IT Technician at our company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. You will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance to our internal systems and assisting our employees in utilizing technology effectively to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software components, including computers, printers, servers, and networking equipment.

Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Diagnose and resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues when necessary.

Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, ensuring connectivity and security.

Collaborate with the IT team to implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and patches.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels across various systems.

Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, software licenses, and technical documentation.

Participate in technology-related projects, contributing to planning, implementation, and testing phases.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.

Solid understanding of computer systems, hardware, software, and network components.

Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.

Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and productivity software.

Basic knowledge of network protocols and configurations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to technical challenges.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
