Senior Accountant

Job Type : Permanent, Hybrid

As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of a collaborative local accounting team. You will work under the supervision of the Business Unit Manager and will be responsible for the accounting of client companies within your assigned portfolio, with a focus on a specific client sector, as well as supervising junior roles.

Accounting, reporting, preparing and issuing invoices for various companies

Bank reconciliations, preparation and submission of tax filings and SII, preparation and review of annual accounts

Corporate and Accounting Services

Preparing various types of accounts, payments, cash flow, reports, financial statements, cash position and tax position of client companies

Maintaining accounting books and related supporting documentation

Assisting with audits by providing required information

Monitoring cash flow : analyzing and reconciling movements, reviewing responses / evidence related to inconsistencies using data-based evidence

Preparing and reviewing the conversion of Financial Statements from other GAAPs to Spanish GAAP or vice versa

Reconciling approved investments, purchase documents, etc., with cash movements

Preparing and reviewing cash management activities, including bank account management and payment instructions

Obtaining accounting information for tax returns and preparing tax filing documentation for the tax authority

Analyzing, reviewing, and submitting various tax returns

Reviewing and inspecting various tax filings

Managing team workload, monitoring team performance in terms of quality and quantity

Training team members

Degree or Master's in Accounting or Business Administration

Strong command of English, with fluency in client communication (B2 / C1 level)

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects / tasks, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure
