If your three answers are Yes maybe we have a perfect position for you within Light&Medium (L&M) Mission System Software Department.

We have opened a position as Software Architect and Developer to be part of the team that have developed more than 20 versions of the Fully Integrated Tactical System (FITS) for more than 15 different customers around the world.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Architect and Developer with a strong background in C development in distributed systems. If you also have knowledge in cyber security topics this will be the perfect opportunity to develop yourself.

As a Software Architect and developer you will play a crucial role in designing and architecting the software of the new generation of Mission System in the Airbus platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Master the needs over our Mission Systems and especially focused on the Software of the system.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams in order to :

Translate the system requirements into software requirements (Identify Analyze Derive them traceability) and ensure that security considerations are integrated into the Mission System software design.

Being able to evaluate the threats and vulnerabilities (i.e collaborating in Security Scope Analysis Security Risk Analysis pentesting technics etc)

Define the Data Modelling and Data Classification applicable to our Mission Systems in every project.

Design and lead the Mission System software architecture solution to fulfil the Software Requirements :

Defining the aspects of the architecture and design in system / software (i.e security communication HMI etc)

Mastering the requirements allocation to the given system elements by mean of : principles patterns design and tools to apply them into our products.

Modelling in UML the SW Detail Design

Lead a secure Software Implementation over our Mission System incorporating industry best practices and security standards into the software design including :

SW Implementation and coding (in C and python) of SW Components under GNU / Linux OS.

Integration of third party software or / with other systems in a secure way.

Analysis of coding risk secure coding practices and vulnerability mitigation.

Guarantee the correct Mission System software design and implementation leading :

Definition of Software Qualification Tests strategy

Validation of SW Requirements and Qualification Tests

Verification of SW (Execution of Tests : Component Test and Integration Test).

SW Components configuration (GIT)

SW Problem Resolution managament (Requirement Changes Proposal and / or SW bugs in JIRA)

SKILLS

We are looking for candidates with the following skills :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent discipline .

Proven experience as a Software Architect with a focus on designing and architecting software systems.

Proficiency in C development over linux OS including strong coding and debugging skills.

Experience on Software Design with UML

Experience on Software Verification

Experience on Requirements Management.

Experience on Software Configuration problem tracking

Negotiation level of English and Spanish

Leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.

Communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Last but not least be willing to : develop yourself grow learn and have proactive mindset

Will be very highly appreciated knowledge in any / several of these competences :

Experience in Network Architectures (CCNA certification)

Experience in Software Virtualization Architectures (focused on HA and / or FT solutions) and Designs (VMWare vSphere HyperV Dockers etc)

Knowledge of security principles best practices and normative / regulation / standards such as : INFOSEC NATO Directives RTCADO326A / ED202A RTCADO356 ED203A MILHDBK1785 CCNSTIC301 CCNSTIC302 etc.

Experience on GIS and HMI technologies : Carmenta Rogue Wave (former ILOG) Maps OpenGL Rogue Wave Views Qt.

Experience in Software integration of ISR Sensors : Radar EO / IR IFF AIS ADSB MAD ESM Acoustic Armament etc

Experience on Avionics protocols : ARINCAFDX etc
